William D. Owings is the district judge of Bibb County in Alabama. He was appointed by Governor Bob Riley on November 20, 2003.[1][2]

Education

Owings earned his B.A. from the University of Alabama and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1982.[3][1]

2012 election

Owings defeated Thomas M. Hobson in the Republican primary on March 13, winning 56.33% of the vote. He was re-elected after running unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4] [5][6]
