William Purrington Cole
William Purrington Cole (1889-1957) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals and the United States Customs Court.
Cole was nominated to the Court of Customs and Patent Appeals by President Harry Truman. He was commissioned on July 7, 1952, and served until his death on September 22, 1957.[1]
Cole was nominated to the USCC by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He was commissioned on May 14, 1942. He served the USCC until his reassignment to the Court of Customs and Patent Appeals on July 9, 1952.[1]
