William Queen (West Virginia)

William "Bill" Queen is an at-large representative on the Berkeley County Board of Education in West Virginia. He first joined the board in 1996.[1]
Queen sought another term in the general election on May 10, 2016.[2][3] He successfully won re-election to his seat.[4]
Biography
Queen is a restorative dentist. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the West Virginia Institute of Technology, a doctorate in dental surgery from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, and a specialty in prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.[1]

Two of the five seats on the Berkeley County Schools Board of Education were up for at-large general election on May 10, 2016. In their bids for re-election, incumbents J. Ron Gray and William "Bill" Queen faced challenger Michelle Barnes-Russell.[2][5] Queen won re-election, and Barnes-Russell defeated Gray to win a seat on the board.[4]
