William R. Carpenter is a judge on the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected in 1993 and was retained in 2003 to a term that expired in 2013.[1] He ran for retention in 2013, and was retained to a term that expires in 2023.[2]

2013 election

Carpenter was retained to the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas with 76.0 percent of the vote on November 5, 2013. [2]

Education

Carpenter earned his undergraduate degree from Juniata College and his J.D. from Ohio Northern University.[3]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Carpenter spent 15 years as a prosecutor.[1][4][5]
