William R. Stokes

William R. Stokes is a superior court justice of the Knox County Superior Court in Knox County, Maine. He was nominated by Governor Paul LePage on May 7, 2014, to replace Justice Jeffrey Hjelm on the court. Stokes' appointment was confirmed by the State of Maine's Joint Standing Committee on Judiciary on July 24, 2014.[1] His current term will expire in 2021.[2]

Stokes received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and his J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School.[2]
