I am a 30 plus your business owner that is seeking office to put more business and common sense leadership into Tallahassee. With the rising costs of our citizens every day life and seemingly no real solutions to these problems, it’s time to stop electing politicians and put people in office that run businesses and are solution and deadline oriented. With that said, when you make paychecks for people, support families and now second generation family members, you get a sense of what it means to be a leader people can count on. In business I have negotiated seven figure contracts, worked across many isles and have dealt with hundreds of local governments across the country to get our jobs done. We can’t wait anymore for the same people that keep the same problems before us. It is my civic duty to step up and run for this seat.
  • Taxpayer dollars back to the district
  • Affordable and workforce housing
  • Trades and apprenticeship programs back into the school districts
Safety, small business, infrastructure and education
I look up to Sly Stallone. Uncommon answer but I like the underdog story and working hard to get what you want in life. Never quitting and even when you’re down, you can make a comeback. I feel everyone has the Rocky story inside their lives.
My political philosophy is a mixture of things but not in a book or essay. The problem with pigeon holing your thoughts into books or essay is that your not free thinking for yourself and needs of the. Community. Most every issue is non partisan and can be solved with no partisan minds not party minds but we unfortunately have a two party system that fights tooth and nail for power and not the people. I represent people. If I was to put my financial thought process into a book it would be Rich Dad Poor Dad and 7 Habits of highly successful people. We need effective leaders with business minds, not ineffective leaders that follow party lines.
Transparency, business minded, detail and deadline oriented, communication skills both in Tallahassee and to constituents and most importantly honesty. If you say you stand for something and going to do something then you need to follow through. And lastly, alway be present for your voters, not just in election season.
I am a people person, I always put everyone else’s needs above mine. Successful in business for 30 years, grew the company from a bedroom and fax to one of the largest companies in my industry. I know how to negotiate and make all sides win and price myself on that strategy unless I was Negotiating with a foreign country leader. Then it’s America First. I also understand the needs of people and how important it is we satisfy the basic needs.
Take the needs of your district to Tallahassee and create legislation, vote for legislation or repeal legislation that is in your district’s best interest, not yours. Also fight to get taxpayers dollars back to the district to pay for infrastructure needs.
I want to build a world class mental health facility that people from all over the world come to for free as it’s paid for by donations. St. Jude’s model.
The day my mother passed and I was with her after she had an aneurism and had to make the decision to pull the plug. I was 36
Sun sentinel newspapers telemarketing sales in high school. Few years
Who moved my cheese. It’s a great story about not getting stuck in life when something goes wrong. Just go out without fear and make it happen. I love the story.
Understanding why government does so many things against its own people
To vote and approve what is genuinely right for the people of the state of Florida. Both sides need to listen and both party’s should have equal opportunity to get sound legislation passed without party blinders on.
Insurance and keeping the workforce in Florida with unaffordable housing.
No, I believe that’s part of the problem and they need business ownership experience. If they haven’t build anything or made paychecks for families, how can they determine what people really need and feel for them.
Yes, in order to get bills passed you need great relationships on both sides of the isle and you have to be a team player so when you have a bill you have support and vice-versa. Utmost important part of being effective
Presently Peggy Gossett, newly elected and is really burning the candles at both ends to do right by her constituents. I admire her.
Being that the infrastructure is so bad, water quality and water plant security are to major issues that bother me. I literally have people showing me brown water coming out of their faucets. Also our water plant, like most others has no security in place for an attack on our water supply. This really bothers me. We can do better!
I don’t keep jokes in my head
Oversee. It’s never good to just let the ultimate power be in one persons hands
Tom Carney-Mayor for Delray

PBC Commissioner Marci Woodward
ABC southeast - building educational PAC
Hispanic Vote
Blu PAC - Boca Chamber small business PAC

Mac Mcgray-former Boynton Beach Commissioner
Infrastructure, education, small business and commerce, transportation and tourism
100 percent needed. No other words needed to answer this question.
I feel we are in a good spot at the moment but we will see after this election if changes are necessary.

Successful business owner, community leader, and entrepreneur. I have been involved in the City of Parkland, Broward County and Palm Beach community affairs for most of my professional career. The reason why I am running is because as a father and business leader, I have to stand up for our next generation. Our kids must attend safe schools, have access to essential learning and mental health resources, know their streets and communities are safe and make sure they have a bright economic future ahead of them. I firmly believe we are put on this earth to leave it in better shape then we received and being in office gives me a voice to the constituents of my district In Tallahassee that they currently don’t have.
  • The Crippling rising costs of inflation and taxes are creating a burden on our families. We must and will find a way to fight inflation, lower our taxes, cut unjust regulations, solve supply chain issues and help our families meet their everyday needs.
  • Community, Personal and School Safety. I will fight to make sure safety is a top priority of my administration. We currently live in unprecedented times where safety is questioned daily. I will fight and support full funding for our law enforcement and first responders so they can do their jobs without feeling handcuffed by the system. I also want to see our veterans being hired in our schools to patrol the perimeters as I strongly feel they are the most qualified for active situations. We must focus on safety, it’s a human right to be safe.
  • Mental Health Resources. As a father of a beautiful daughter that suffered from mental health and bullying issues growing up, I know first hand how important mental health resources can change a persons life. I will fight for funding to make sure our schools, law enforcement agencies and mental health care facilities have the proper resources and funding. Mental health is so vitally important to everyone and it is something we can not ignore.
I am personally passionate about school safety. This stems from my neighborhood of Parkland and the tragedy at MSD.

Also mental health, as I have a personal connection to ensure mental health is accessible to everyone that needs resources.
Quality Education. Our children need to come out of high school ready to take on the world. Currently the curriculum is not up to standards in Florida and that needs to change ASAP.
Elder Care. 30 percent of our population in Florida are senior citizens and we are lacking horribly in safe care and support facilities.
I am also passionate about our infrastructure and the growing demand from our massively increase in population.
Public Transportation

Saving our ecological system
I look up to Warren Buffet. As a young man I was always engaged in business activities such as organizing the street kids during snow storms or the fall leaves and charging the families to handle either snow or leave removal. Similar to buffet who worked at the stadium selling sodas. Saving my Pennie’s in business growing up I would always invest in opportunities for a return on my money. I follow Warren to this day and I love his fiscal responsibility.
I’m a former athlete so coach Wooden’s pyramid of Success Playbook would. The lessons inside the book are about true leadership qualities that you can take into any aspect of your life or career.
Listening, integrity, working for the constituents even if they disagree, if your constituents are in favor of something, they elected you in so you listen. Being accessible to your district and not hiding behind voicemail or emails. Being present in the community and open for discussion and most of all, be genuine. Remember people put you in office and they can vote you out!
I am very resourceful and non wavering decision maker. I have incredible listening skills, I am empathetic and I lead by example. I also believe that you show up for your job to do your job. I appreciate listening to opposition as you always learn something that could define your decision making process and I keep an open mind on all topics. I can not be bought and will not entertain corporations over peoples needs. Understanding that most peoples issues on both sides of the party lines are non-partisan, working together to satisfy to public is what’s most important.
It’s simple. To serve the district and the state by the listening voices of the people. Show up for legislation, do not skip sessions, be responsible for your actions and fight for the needs of the people.
That I was able to secure statewide school Safety solutions to all schools. Provide stable mental health resources and funding to the proper institutions and have have increased our educational systems national rating.
When I was 8 years old my parents took me to Washington DC. I vividly remember how powerful the buildings looked and specifically the Capitol. Fun fact, I had terrible nose bleeds when I was young and during the tour my nose bleed all over the capital floor.
Very first job was working for a landscaping company during middle and high school. I had the job for 3 years
Who moved my cheese. That book taught me to move immediately from bad situations either in business or my personal life and find the solution. It literally turned my business mind from just making money to building a multimillion dollar business.
Raising kids and keeping them on the path to independence and understanding they need a career that provides for them. Today with the social media platforms instant gratification and misleading information clouds young kids minds. So as a parent it’s difficult to keep kids in reality.
I believe the Governor should listen to the facts presented by the state legislature and use the voices of the people to determine what laws and regulations are put in place. There needs to be a harmonious relationship.
Rising Taxes / inflation

Employee Retention or filling open positions
Affordable Housing
Proper funding of mental healthcare
Border crisis and fentanyl coming into our communities
Education Reform
Getting rid of the corrupt school boards

Protecting our eco system
The benefits is that we have one house that has all the responsibilities of the house, which makes everyone work together and they vote as one. They are able to move quickly to pass legislation. As this may sound good, I am not so sure.
The drawback is you have no opposition to keep checks and balances in place. I am not a fan of the unicameral system because it’s to limited in its effectiveness to be fair to the peoples needs. I feel decisions could be made more on agendas then for the people.
No, I believe people with a business background not a political career should be running government. As it stands, politicians are corrupted by money and special interest and career politicians certainly don’t get paid enough to live the luxury lives they have. You can also see that because we have career politicians, most states and the Federal Government are in financial ruins because most of them are not fiscally responsible to the office they hold or the people they serve. If we ran the country like a business we would make smarter decisions and be fiscally responsible to our citizens. Also our government is mostly made up of lawyers. I never met a lawyer that made money by quickly resolving cases. Business people have to cut through the case to keep the business moving forward which is paramount to success. Politicians created the messes we are dealing with.
Absolutely, in anything you do relationships are key to successful outcomes and negotiations. Also when legislators have common issues they are supporting, it’s key to have intelligent discussions and not egos at the table. This will prove to create more win win situations.
I don’t have an opinion on this topic as I don’t have any real knowledge of how it’s currently done.
Children, Families and elder affairs

Commerce and Tourism
Education
Environment and natural resources
Military and veteran affairs

Agriculture
I hear this story all the time in my neighborhood. Families are constantly complaining about the rising costs of goods and services and I listen to parents with their kids graduating college in debt and either can’t find a job or the ones they are offered can’t cover their costs of living so the kids are moving home and putting further financial strain on the family. This to me is terrible.

Also I know a few people that lived through the MSD shooting in Parkland and how School Safety has still not really been resolved this many years later. It breaks my heart to have parents fearful of their kids going to school. This is so impactful to me and I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
A man tells his doctor I am addicted to Twitter. The doc replies, “I’m sorry, I don’t follow you…”
Yes. One person should not have the ability to use emergency powers without committee.
I do believe that as long as both sides win. You can not negotiate solid long lasting deals effective deals if only on side comes out on top.
