William Spearman
William W. Spearman (Democratic Party) is a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 5. He assumed office on July 1, 2018. His current term ends on January 13, 2026.
Spearman (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent District 5. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025. He advanced from the Democratic primary on June 10, 2025.
Biography
Spearman worked for the South Jersey Transportation Authority for more than 10 years.Spearman served on the Camden City Council from 2006 to 2011.[1]

A special election for District 5 of the New Jersey General Assembly was called for November 6, 2018.
The seat became vacant following Arthur Barclay's (D) resignation following his arrest for domestic abuse.[2] William Spearman (D) was appointed to the position after Barclay's resignation.
