Guadagnino successfully defended his seat against Vonada. Challenger Michael Gordon was defeated in the primary election. Three newcomers ran for the District 2 seat in the primary election: Mario Littman, Linda Prescott, and Steven Van Gorden. Prescott defeated the other candidates, taking more than 50 percent of the votes cast and winning the seat outright. [1][2]
