As we launch the 2024 electoral cycle, I hope to meet with all of my wonderful neighbors that I have known for years, and be introduced to those I have not had the pleasure to meet around town.

Germantown and the 24th AD are my home. I have lived here my entire 30 years, graduating from MacArthur Elementary, Kennedy Middle School, and Germantown High School. Following four years and a degree from Whitewater, I returned home.

Now, I serve as the Executive Director of Our Wisconsin Revolution after previously serving as the Policy Research Director and Lead Training Organizer. With media experience from hosting a state-wide radio show, and national experience as an elected delegate to the 2020 Democratic National Convention, I bring youth, energy, and fresh ideas to a district in need of innovation

The job of an elected official is to represent the goals, dreams, and desires of their constituents and their district, not themselves. You are my boss, you will drive this campaign forward.

Working and grassroots organizing with the incredible people of the 24th over the past 6 years has cemented my belief in the importance of community and dedication to one another. These foundational pillars uplift both the individual and society as a whole. Our collective strength will always be greater than our individual abilities. Solidarity is not just a noun or slogan, it's a way of life. It's behavior in action.
  • I believe it’s imperative for young people to have a seat at the table while expecting public policy to serve the needs of the many rather than the will of the few, something that can only be accomplished through unapologetically progressive legislation. In the tradition of the Wisconsin Idea, in a state rich with progressive history, I hope to help drive Wisconsin “Forward” once again. To reshape our future, we must reclaim our past. The values and ideas that made Wisconsin a national leader in “Forward” thinking policy must be modernized and implemented today, planting the seeds for a happy, healthy, thriving tomorrow.
  • Public dollars should stay in public schools, not private institutions. Public schools are the cornerstones of communities. We must ensure quality education for ALL Wisconsin students, and guarantee an environment that allows each unique individual to excel and to reach their full potential. Funding cannot simply be "adequate", it must be paramount. A budget represents priorities, resources are distributed to that which is deemed most important. Education, as the building block of society, must be at the top.
  • A healthy environment is a prerequisite for a sustainable future. Clean water and clean air are fundamental building blocks of a healthy society. Polluters must be punished, both financially and legally, to protect Wisconsin from those who disregard environmental standards. We must adequately fund the DNR and legislate independence of their scientists from partisan control. Taking initiative on decarbonization efforts with the goal of net-zero emissions by 2040 would allow Wisconsin to once again lead the nation "Forward". Increasing funding towards PFAS prevention and combating already impacted areas is required immediately. Independence from fossil fuels by 2040 is possible if we Champion clean, renewable energy TODAY.
Women's reproductive rights and healthcare are two issues that, while intertwined, have defined my career. Ensuring reproductive freedom and implementing BadgerCare For All, as well as staple progressive policies like protecting public education, demanding climate justice, and enacting cannabis legalization, will be the foundation of my campaign and what I hope to accomplish if elected. I am unapologetically progressive and currently serve as the Executive Director of OWR, having served as OWR's Policy Research Director and Lead Training Organizer for the past few years. The invaluable non-profit leadership experience these roles have provided allow me to offer a unique perspective and new, fresh ideas to an often inactive legislature.
Honesty, integrity, and AUTHENTICITY. So much of the modern world is fake. Manufactured content curated to a drive a preconditioned narrative. Every television commercial, every YouTube ad, every Instagram product, specially crafted to evoke a particular feeling, sell a particular product, or push a particular belief.

Americans are sick and tired of the constant manipulation. I believe elected officials should, first and foremost, be real. Part of being real is being truthful with your viewpoints, part of it is being honest with yourself. Politicians should not be celebrities, they should not be a "brand", they should not be a persona. They are a public servant, a representative of the community that has placed faith in them. No fabricated characters, no hiding behind a mask.

Once a candidate creates this facade, it becomes quite easy to distance oneself from the constituents they were elected to serve. It becomes easy to dismiss the constituents they were elected to serve. It becomes easy to betray the constituents they were elected to serve.
Serve the needs of the many rather than the will of the few. A public servant must do what is in the best interest of ALL they represent, not only those who voted for them, or worse, those who donated to their campaign.
I truly believe humanity's collective strength is much greater than any one of our individual abilities. We evolved as social creatures, we are out our best when we work together. Greatness cannot be achieved alone, and success does not exist in a vacuum. We are a product of our surroundings, the culmination of all that came before us. With that said, my legacy is not, and should not, be my own. It should be a mosaic of all that we, as Wisconsinites, as Americans, as humans, were able to accomplish during my time in office. Hopefully, that will be transformative progressive policy, redefining the American Dream, reshaping the middle-class, remodeling the healthcare industry, reframing social equity, reinvigorating Wisconsin.
I can imagine many millennials would share this answer. September 11th. I was in 2nd grade, and remember the day vividly. Standing at the bus stop when the first tower was hit, parents were concerned, but the general consensus was that it must have been an accident. It wasn't until the second tower was struck that the public recognized the severity of the situation. As second graders, we did not understand the ramifications of the attacks. We were not aware that the world, and all of our lives, were forever changed.
The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. Personal fitness is a passion of mine, I have been an avid gym-goer since college and do what I can to help my friends, family, and neighbors understand the importance of a healthy foundation. Good habits, like bad habits, are easy to build and hard to break. Humans are creatures of repetition, we thrive with consistency and structure, we flourish when following routine. Recognizing human nature, and manipulating it to your advantage, is an immensely powerful skill.
Commander Shepard from the Mass Effect series. The fate of the galaxy lies in your hands, do you lead with virtue or malevolence? I, of course, always choose Paragon. Even in a virtual world, the needs of the many outweigh the will of the few.
