William Wellemeyer

William Wellemeyer ran for judge on the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals in 2010.

2010 election

Wellemeyer ran unopposed in the Republican primary. He was defeated by Carla Moore in the general election.[1][2]

Education

Wellemeyer received a B.A. in economics from the University of Akron in 1985 and a J.D. from its School of Law in 1990.[3]

Career

After graduating from law school, Wellemeyer served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Summit County. Next, he went into private practice. In 2001, became Senior Quality Editor of Case Law Summaries for LexisNexis. Four years later, he became a Mediator for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. In 2009, he became Acting Magistrate for that court.[3]
