Williamsport Village Medical Levy Addition (March 2012)
A Williamsport Village Medical Levy Addition measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the village of Williamsport which is in Pickaway County.
The measure was approved
- YES 85 (70.83%)
- NO 35 (29.17%)[1]
This measure sought to add to the medical levy by a rate of $.25 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for ambulance and medical services in the village.[2]

The question on the ballot:
An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Williamsport for the purpose of PROVIDING AMBULANCE SERVICE, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, OR BOTH, at a rate not exceeding two and five-tenths (2.5) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty-five cents ($0.25) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
