The city of Houston, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 24, 2015.[1] In the race for At-Large Position 2, Willie R. Davis and incumbent David W. Robinson defeated Andrew Burks Jr., Eric Dick and Moe Rivera in the general election. Robinson defeated Davis in a runoff election on December 12, 2015.[2][3]

I'm a Pastor of 34yrs of serving between two cities Houston and Chicago. I have always been involved in community issues that promote progress and prosperity. I was educated in Houston and attended Sam Houston State Univeristy and Texas Southern Univeristy. I volunteered for the United States Army and was attached to the 1st Special Forces Green Beret in Okinawa Japan. I'm married to a wonderful lady and I have five beautiful children.
I am personally passionate about personal policies that promotes financial equality for all of the city. I'm passionate about policies that reduce crime and promotes fair treatment of all citizens. I also want to promote lower taxation and zero based budgeting.
This office is a local municipal position but it is unique in that it helps to set the precedent for the public to be engaged and educated.
I look up to God and I want to follow the example of Christ that he requires of me.
When I was a Cub Scout, I got the opportunity to shake the hand of President John F Kennedy at Houston Hobby Airport 1963, I was 9yrs old
Paper route at 11yrs old and I had for 1yr.
I believe should be aware from this office on how we need to keep our communities integrated and not segregated.
I believe it is necessary that the holders of this office have Community knowledge of people struggles in from day to day.
I believe the expertise of this office holder should be people skills from lower income to higher income citizens.
