Willie E. Lockette is the chief judge of the Dougherty Circuit of Georgia.[1] He first took office in 1996. Lockette won re-election in 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012.[2]

Education

Lockette received his bachelor's from Fort Valley State University and his J.D. from the University of Illinois. He was admitted to the bar in 1974.[3][4]

2012 election

Lockette ran unopposed for re-election to the Dougherty Superior Court.[5] He was re-elected after receiving 99.5% of the vote in the July 31 election.[6]
