Willie J. Freeman
Willie J. Freeman is the former District 3 member of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Board of Education in Tennessee. He ran unopposed and won the general election on August 7, 2014. Freeman did not file to run for re-election in 2018.
Biography
Willie J. Freeman is a resident of Montgomery County, Tennessee. Freeman graduated from Big Ben Community College of Chicago and earned his bachelor's degree from American Baptist College. He spent 21 years serving in the United States Army, fighting in the Vietnam War and achieving the rank of 1st Sergeant. Freeman has served as the pastor of the Greater Missionary Baptist Church for 13 years.[1]

The general election in Clarksville-Montgomery County featured four seats up for election on August 7, 2014. Jimmie Garland won re-election in District 5 against Carmen Annette Gentry. Incumbents George Giles and Josh Baggett won their elections unopposed for Districts 1 and 7, respectively. District 3 newcomer Willie J. Freeman also won his election unopposed to join the board.
