Willie L. Bailey was a 2014 candidate for the Fourth Judicial District (Place 4) in Mississippi.[1] He is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 49 since 1995. His term expired on January 3, 2016.[2]

Bailey ran for election to the Fourth Judicial District.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 42.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Ashley Hines. [1] 

Education

Bailey earned his undergraduate degree from Tougaloo College and his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.[2]

Career

Prior to his election to the Mississippi House of Representatives in 1995, Bailey worked as an attorney in private practice and served as a judge.[2]
