Jackson, Mississippi: Complete but unofficial results indicate that attorney Patricia H. Willis won the May 27, 2013 special election for Mississippi House of Representatives, District 95. Willis received 52.4 percent of the vote to defeat Tommy Ballard, Sherri Carr Bevis, and Grant Bower.[1]
Willis told the press that she is "delighted and...can't wait to get to work"[2]. Willis will serve the remainder of Upshaw's term and face re-election in 2015.[2]
