Wilson Crespo
Wilson "Will" Crespo was a candidate for Ward 3 representative on the North Las Vegas City Council in Nevada. He was defeated in the primary election on April 4, 2017.
Although city council elections in North Las Vegas are officially nonpartisan, Crespo was listed by the Clark County Democrats as a Democratic candidate in 2017.[1]
Biography
Crespo retired from the North Las Vegas Police Department as a lieutenant in March 2015. Prior to joining the force, he served as a security police officer in the U.S. Air Force. He has also served as vice president and treasurer of the North Las Vegas Police Supervisors Association.[2][3]

Scott Black and incumbent Anita G. Wood defeated Wilson Crespo, Tom Collins, and Ender Austin III in the primary election for the Ward 3 seat on the North Las Vegas City Council.[4]

The Las Vegas Journal-Review reported that Crespo's campaign priorities were to "[h]ire more firefighters and police officers; quality of life issues; provide incentives to attract small business owners."[3]
