Winter Park City Charter Amendments, 12 (March 2010)
This local ballot measure article needs significant improvements to meet Ballotpedia's standards.
There were twelve Winter Park City Charter Amendments on the March 9 ballot in Orange County for voters in the city of Winter Park.
Eleven of the proposed amendments were approved, with amendment 10 being the only measure that did not pass.[1]
Most of the proposed amendments dealt with basic regulations for the commissions, such as needing to be present physically at the meetings and other minor clarifications.[2] Amendment 10 had given rise to heated debate, whether there should be a super majority needed to pass and land use changes within the city council. A simple majority is all that is needed currently for changes to be passed.[3]
