A special election to fill the seat representing Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House was held in 2024. Primaries were held on August 13, 2024. The general election was held on November 5th, 2024. The filing deadline was June 1st, 2024.[1]
The special election filled the vacancy left by Mike Gallagher (R), who cited death threats and swatting incidents targeted toward his family as reasons for his resignation.[2]
