There were 12 legislatively referred referenda on the September 9, 2008, ballots in Wisconsin. All of them are bond issues to add funds to school budgets. If all of the bonds had passed, a total of $65,445,000 would have been authorized.
Eight of the 12 school bond referenda passed, and four were turned down by the voters, authorizing a total of $36.73 million.
