Work and activities
Legislative and policy work
Wisconsin Family Council organizes a network of churches. It communicates with member churches and supports their efforts in meeting with members of the Wisconsin Legislature.[4] The group also supports local activists, publishes regular radio programs, and holds events on issues important to its mission.[5][6]
The group's 501(c)(4) arm, Wisconsin Family Action, employs a lobbyist in the Wisconsin Legislature.[7] According to the Wisconsin Ethics Commission, the group lobbies on "any matters that directly impact Wisconsin's families - marriage, divorce, education issues and school choice, parental rights, gambling, religious freedom and individual conscience rights, abstinence, taxes, pro-life issues (abortion, assisted suicide, etc.)."[7] Between January and June 2025, Wisconsin Family Action spent $4,549.64 in lobbying costs.[7]
Wisconsin Family Action also endorses candidates in local, statewide and legislative elections and issues press releases on legislative and judicial activities in Wisconsin.[8][9]
