Clinton Anderson (D)
We need to have nonpartisan redistricting in Wisconsin. Our maps are drawn by politicians in Madison looking to draw safe seats to prevent them from being held accountable. I will push for an independent commission to draw maps and ensure they are protected from outside political influence.
Local elected officials know what's best for their communities. Our State Legislature has repeatedly stripped away local control. The needs of Monticello are different from the needs of Beloit. I will fight to allow local officials the flexibility to tackle the issues unique to their communities.

Another area is local control. State government should work in collaboration with, not in opposition to local governments. Local leaders know what's best for their communities
