Wm. Christopher Penwell ran for judge on the Tenth Judicial District Seat 3 in Minnesota in 2010.

Penwell was one of twenty-four candidates running for the seat. He was defeated in the general election.[1]

According to Penwell's campaign website:

I believe deeply that the Constitution is the cornerstone of our democratic form of government and I am committed to being a strict constructionist and not finding non-existent rights in the Constitution. I will apply the laws passed by the legislature as written but always against the backdrop of the Constitution as the final authority.

Penwell received his B.A. in English Literature from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.[3]
