A Woodland Joint Unified School District Bond Issue, Measure S ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the Woodland Joint Unified School District in Yolo and Sutter counties, California. It was defeated.

Had it been approved, Measure S would have authorized the district to increase its debt by $78 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. It also would have authorized the district to levy sufficient additional property taxes to repay these bonds.[1]

District voters also decided a another bond measure seeking $19 million under the name Measure T.[1] This measure was also defeated.

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure S.

Ballot question

The question on the ballot:[1]

Woodland Classroom Repair and Upgrade Measure. To upgrade classrooms, libraries, science and computer labs in Woodland schools with local funding the State cannot take away, shall Woodland Joint Unified School District repair roofs; update classroom computer technology; remove asbestos/hazardous materials; make schools accessible for students with disabilities; and replace boilers, plumbing; sewers and electrical systems by issuing $78 million in bonds at legal rates with independent oversight, mandatory audits and no money for administrator salaries/pensions/benefits?[2]
