A Woodland Joint Unified School District Bond Issue, Measure T ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the Woodland Joint Unified School District in Yolo and Sutter counties, California. It was defeated.
Had it been approved, Measure T would have authorized the district to increase its debt by $19 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. It also would have authorized the district to levy sufficient additional property taxes to repay these bonds.[1]
District voters also decided on another bond measure seeking $78 million under the name Measure S.[1] This measure was also defeated.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure T.

Woodland Safe and Healthy Schools Measure. To support student health and safety by fixing cracked/potholed pavement; providing lunch/shade shelters for students; repairing/replacing school playgrounds/playfields/physical education facilities; and repairing/upgrading fencing/school security, shall Woodland Joint Unified School District issue $19 million in bonds at legal rates with independent oversight, mandatory audits, no money for administrator salaries/pensions/benefits and all funds benefiting Woodland schools?[2] |
