A Woodland Park School District Levy Increase measure was on the November 1, 2011 ballot in the Woodland Park school district area which is in Teller County.
This measure was defeated

This measure sought to increase the current levy by a rate of $950,000 for one year in order to pay for maintaining school facilities to meet health and safety standards as well as restore lost funding from previous budget cuts in the district.[2]
School officials noted that this additional money would have made bus services free again for students as well as cut back on sports and activity fees which had to be implemented. If this had been approved, on average taxes would have been increased by $2.50 per $100,000 of assessed property value per month in the district area.[3]
Current Statewide
A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[4]
