A Worthington City School District Tax Levy Increase question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Franklin County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question would have authorized the Worthington City School District to increase property taxes by 4.9 mills ($4.9 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for a continuing period of time with two 1 mills incremental increases over the first two years of the life of the tax. The revenue from this tax would be used to fund current expenses.[1]
