Wylie H. Caldwell, Jr. (b. August 29, 1942) is a South Carolina Family Courts judge for the Twelfth Circuit.[1] He was elected to this position in 1980.[2]

Education

Caldwell earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in 1964. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1967. He is now married to Gwynette M. Caldwell and has two children.[2]

Career

Caldwell worked in private practice in Florence from 1967 to 1980. During this time he served as City Prosecutor, Assistant Solicitor and City Attorney for the City of Florence. He joined the 12th Circuit Family Court in 1980. He has been a Family Court Judge since then.[2]
