Wynne Laufenberg

Wynne P. Laufenberg is a judge for the Racine County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. Gov. Scott Walker (R) appointed her to the court on December 5, 2016, to replace Judge Gerald Ptacek upon his retirement on January 3, 2016.[1]
Biography
Laufenberg was born in Chippewa Falls, Wis. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a J.D. from Marquette University Law School. Prior to and until she assumed the bench, Laufenberg worked as sole practitioner lawyer and as a guardian ad litem.[1]
Elections

The judgeship was up for election in 2018. Laufenberg stated at the time of her appointment that she intended to seek a full term in the office in that election.[1]
