The Wyoming Commission on Judicial Conduct and Ethics is a judicial disciplinary agency in Wyoming charged with initiating, receiving and investigating complaints concerning judicial misconduct, and it also deals with involuntary disability retirement.[1]

Note: State judicial disciplinary agencies do not have appellate jurisdiction or authority over federal court judges and justices.

Organization

The commission is made up of 12 members: Three judges, three lawyers and six members of the public. The judges are elected by full-time, active judges. The lawyers are appointed by the governing body of the Wyoming State Bar. The members of the public are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the senate. All members serve three-year terms with a two-term limit.[2]
