The Wyoming Home Rule, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in Wyoming on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved.
For a measure to pass in Wyoming, it must receive a majority of the total votes cast in an election. The total votes cast was 151,541. Therefore, the majority needed was 75,770.[1][1]
