The Wyoming Local Option Gambling Initiative was on the November 8, 1994, election ballot in Wyoming as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated.
This initiative would have allowed certain forms of gambling when the voters approved such a proposal for their county.
It failed, with 61,980 voters in favor, and 137,379 voters opposed.[1]

The principal sponsor of the initiative was Leo McHugh of Laramie, Wyoming. The measure needed 24,646 valid signatures from its sponsors to earn its way onto the Wyoming ballot.
