Villapudua won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of San Joaquin County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Villapudua was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in June 2007 to fill a newly created seat.[1][2][3]
