Xavian Draper
Xavian Draper was a 2014 Libertarian candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Virginia. He failed to file with the Virginia Department of Elections prior to the filing deadline.[1]
He was a 2012 Libertarian Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Virginia.
Biography
Draper earned a bachelor of operations research from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a master's degree in computer systems technology from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. He then served in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He graduated from the Air Force's Air War College in 2013.[2]

According to Draper's website, his campaign themes included:
- Economy: "Government spending must be reduced to the amount of money it collects – and deliver fair value to the American taxpayer for every dollar spent."
- Taxes: "Lowering taxes and balancing the federal budget will stimulate a new era of prosperity."
- Healthcare: "Like all industries, health care would benefit from a free-market approach providing the best product and services at the best price."[3]

Draper ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Virginia's 1st District. He failed to file with the Virginia Department of Elections prior to the filing deadline.[1]
2012
Draper ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Virginia's 3rd District. He ran as a Libertarian Party candidate, but he did not appear on the official candidate list.[4]
