I am a father of two young children and a proud parent of a student in the Christina School District. As a Chinese American, I highly value education, equity, and partnership. Together, these values provide a strong foundation for students to learn and become productive members of their community and society.
Parents play a vital role in their children's education, and I am committed to working to create a more collaborative relationship between parents, schools, and communities, so that we can work together to provide the best possible education for our children.
As Horace Mann indicates that education is the great equalizer that provide a level playing field for all people. I am committed to working to improve our schools so that they can provide all students with the equitable opportunities they need to succeed.- Safety - Our students should feel safe FLOURISHING in our schools, our staff should feel INSPIRING in our schools, and our families should feel CONFIDENT ENTRUSTING in our schools with their children.
- Effective Community Engagement - we must do better and be more transparent to our families to establish a better line of community feedback system,
- Broaden the horizons of the students at Christina School district through more enriching programs such as the arts.
