A Yachats Rural Fire District Levy Renewal measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lincoln County, which is in Oregon, where it was approved.
This measure renewed for another five years the five year local option tax at the same rate, which would otherwise expire in the year 2013-2014.
The estimated revenue from this renewal would be $308,409 for the 2014-2015 tax year, $317,661 for the 2015-2016 tax year, $337,007 for the 2017-2018 tax year, and $347,117 for the 2018-2019 tax year. These funds would be used to continue staff EMS, pay operating costs, replace vehicles and equipment, and training.[1]
