A Yale School District Levy Increase measure was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the Yale school district, which is in St. Clair and Sanilac Counties, which are in Michigan, where it was defeated.
This measure sought to increase the current school levy by a rate of .22 mills for a period of nine years in order to further fund school programs as well as pay for upgrading technology and transportation in the district. School officials stated that the school computers need to be upgraded and new buses would be purchased if the measure is approved.[1]
