Yehuda Lebovits was a resident judge on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2009 (effective June 25) to fill the vacancy created by Sandra R. Otaka's death but lost the election to retain his seat in 2010.[1][2]
