Campaign themes
2014
Morozov's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[1]
- "Americans working full time are living in poverty. I will seek to raise the minimum wage from $7.93 per hour to at least $10.10."
- "Unfair pay for women. According to National Women’s Law Center, women in Florida earn only 83 cents for every dollar that men earn doing exactly the same job. I will introduce a bill in the legislature that will address the disparity so that women earn wages at the same level as men."
- "Businesses are not expanding in North Florida. We must develop highly skilled jobs in such areas as technology, health care, and education. This can be done by providing additional funding to community colleges where the education can be affordable. I will promote manufacturing businesses to move to Jacksonville because expanding the depth of the St. Johns river to 47.5 feet will be pointless if cargo ships are leaving from Jacksonville empty."
