Biography
Yogesh Chawla earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the State University of New York Binghampton. He has worked in information technology for over 20 years, specializing in developing open source public safety software for local, state, and federal entities. His software contributions have been used to assist municipalities in collecting and analyzing traffic stop data to determine the rate at which officers stop minority drivers. His civic involvement experience includes working as a Democratic Party volunteer and canvasser since 2004 and as a city of Madison election official.[1][2][3]
