Results
Two of seven seats on the Southwest Independent School District board of trustees in Texas were scheduled for general election on May 6, 2017. Due to lack of opposition, the election was canceled, and at-large incumbents Mike Frazier and Yolanda Garza-Lopez were automatically re-elected.[1]

Yolanda Garza-Lopez and fellow incumbent Mike C. Frazier defeated challenger Johnathon Cruz on May 10, 2014 for two at-large seats.
