An effort in Buena Park, California, to recall Councilwoman Youngsun Park was initiated in May 2019.[1] Petitioners failed to submit enough signatures to put the recall election on the ballot.[2]
Recall supporters
The recall effort began in response to petty theft charges against Park. On October 19, 2018, Park was arrested for stealing campaign signs that were in opposition to her candidacy.[1]
