Yuriy Semchyshyn earned a Ph.D. from Lviv Polytechnic National University in 2010. His career experience includes working as a software engineer.[1]

|He has 15 years of experience developing computer software for industry leaders and 5 years of experience lecturing at a national university. Most importantly, Yuriy is a father to three children aged 8, 7, and 5 who attend an elementary school in Round Rock ISD.
As a trustee, Yuriy would make the following five goals his top priority:
* Hire a qualified superintendent who is not a domestic abuser. * Ensure that our children's rights to attend school and to breathe freely are never violated again. * Focus on academic excellence and keep politically divisive topics out of our classrooms. * Curb out-of-control spending on items that do not affect academic outcomes. * Bring campus safety and physical security to the highest levels seen nationwide.
