Yvonna Abraham is a judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court. Abraham assumed office on May 16, 2022. Abraham's current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Abraham ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court. Abraham won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
She was appointed to the court on July 8, 2021 by Gretchen Whitmer to replace Lita Masini Popke.[1]
Biography
Abraham received her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Her legal experience includes working as a sole practitioner and as a judicial attorney with the Wayne County Circuit Court. Prior to her appointment, she served as the magistrate and director of probation for the 20th District Court in Dearborn Heights.[1]
