|Zach Cummings was elected to the Leesburg Town Council in 2020, and quickly got to work by spearheading small business grants to help local businesses successfully navigate through COVID-19. During his current tenure, he has led the effort to streamline citizen and small business interaction with local government.
As a small business owner, Zach understands that small businesses are the heart of our economy. He understands our community is only as strong as the businesses and their employees that call it home. One path towards fostering strong small businesses in Virginia is to ensure we have a strong, educated workforce. As a state senator, Zach will fight to level the playing field and ensure that small businesses get the same treatment as large corporations. Virginia needs Zach in Richmond to ensure we focus on our small businesses and our employees to create our strong economy.
As State Senator, Zach will fight to deliver for Loudoun and Fauquier Counties. The 31st State Senate District contains people from many different walks of life, backgrounds, and beliefs and Zach will fight for everyone equally. Zach knows that the strength of our community lies in its people.- Zach will fight to protect a woman's right to choose, fending off efforts to limit access to reproductive health care.
- As a realtor, Zach has seen firsthand the need for affordable housing in our communities.
- Virginia must work to create a clean energy economy to reduce our dependence on state-sanctioned utility monopolies.
