Zach Graumann was a senior advisor for Dean Phillips' 2024 presidential campaign. He was the campaign manager for Andrew Yang's (D) 2020 presidential campaign. Before joining Yang's campaign, Graumann worked as the client philanthropy director at UBS Wealth Management and co-founded SuitUp Incorporated where he met Yang, who occasionally advised the organization. He did not have prior campaign experience when he joined the campaign.[1][2][3]
Career
Graumann joined UBS Wealth Management in 2010 as a graduate training program analyst. He became head of client philanthropy solutions in 2014 and stayed in the position until 2018, advising the firm's clients on the subject of philanthropy.[4] During his time at UBS Wealth Management, Grauman also served as treasurer and board member for Saint Mary's Catholic Academy from 2011 through 2013 and founded SuitUp Incorporated in 2014, a nonprofit that organizes corporate volunteer opportunities in schools. As of August 2019, he served as the chairman of SuitUp's board of directors.[3]
Graumann graduated cum laude from Duke University with a degree in public policy, markets, and management studies.[4]

Campaign strategy
Of the campaign's strategy in the 2020 Democratic primaries, Graumann said Yang's team would seek to demonstrate consistent, rapid growth and "create a dark-horse narrative that shows Andrew can actually win this whole election."[2] He also said they would "run the most efficient, scrappy, and innovative campaign in election history."[2]
