|- I will be a new voice for Topeka. Currently, the two fastest growing demographics in our area are 18-35 year old's and children under 18. When we look at our elected officials now, we rarely find representation from those exact groups. If we truly want to build a strong future for the next generations, we have to invite them to the table. I am uniquely situated to take on that role in our community and am ready to serve the people of my district and my city.
- I have the experience it takes to serve on the City Council. I have served on the City Council in Meriden, been the Student Body President at Washburn University, am a leader in the Young Talent organization in Topeka, and serve on a city commission. I have taken the steps to understand the needs and priorities of our community and know the right avenues to create and pursue solutions. If elected, the residents of District 6 will know I have what it takes to get the job done.
- I have the vision to move Topeka in the right direction. I know the complexities of finding the balance between public and private investment in a community. Topeka is full of amazing people and each one has some idea of how they want to see our community grow and change. Now is the time to connect those ideas with actions! We've seen what we can accomplish when we come together and set collaborative goals, but we can't stop because the last five years were a success. We need to continue to look towards the future of our community.
