Zeeland School District Bond Measure (May 2010)

There was a Zeeland School District Bond Measure on the May 4 ballot in Ottawa County for voters in the Zeeland school district.

This measure was approved

  • YES 2,501 Approveda
  • NO 1,961

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $20,275,000 in order to help with furnishing and equipping new additions to buildings as well as upgrading technology at various schools in the district as well as buying buses.[1] Proponents were emphasizing that passing this would not increase or decrease property taxes, which are set at $.66 per $100 of assessed value. This measure extends the rate for one more year.[2]
