Zoe Ann Midyett completed Ballotpedia's Candidate Connection survey in 2020. The survey questions appear in bold and are followed by Midyett's responses. Candidates are asked three required questions for this survey, but they may answer additional optional questions as well.
Oklahoma is Zoe's home. This is where she and her husband have chosen to live, raise their son, care for her parents, work and assist with Oklahoma disaster victims, and is proud to be a part of a vibrant and tough community.
Zoe is a small business owner, a hobby farmer and rancher.
Zoe is a member of the M.R.C Medical Reserve Corp. Through the M.R.C. she has been active, and is always prepared to help in tornado and disaster recovery in Oklahoma through the M.R.C.
Black Like Me by John Howard Griffin. I read it as assigned reading in school and later revisited again on Audible. Also The Warmth of Other Suns By Isabel Wilkerson. Trying to understand why the color of someones skin is still an issue, but as long as it is, I want to be an advocate for equality.

Equal Education for All. So what does that mean? Zoe firmly feels that our free and public schools need a hand up. If you visit random public schools around our great land, you will see that not one is like the other. That would be wonderful if that was because they were excelling in what they do. However the sad truth is that that the best education often occurs in the most affluent areas. Zoe is proposing a standardized teacher salary nation wide, with adjustments for cost of living and bonus' for educating in remote areas. Teachers will get pay increases based on their merits, length of term, completing free up-training and continued education, and from positive reviews from administrators, students, peers, and parents.
I actually do not look up to any one person. In my life I have discovered that people from the most unlikely situation can teach me something new if I am just willing to take the time to listen. So I guess the answer to this question, is I can find something unique about everyone to look up to.
To listen and truly represent their constituents. If elected I would like to have a monthly meeting with a random group of constituents to hear their thoughts, concerns and ideas.
The Challenger Disaster. I was 17 years old at the time. I was driving to a meeting for the C.A.R. (Children of the American Revolution), and I had to pull off of the road to cry .
I read it as assigned reading in school and later revisited again on Audible. This book should be mandatory reading for someone who is white in this country to get a better feeling of what African Americans had to and continue to deal with in our Land of the Free.
Yes, I and I feel all public offices should have some sort of term limits. Even if they were only only temporary and allowed the person in question to run again after stepping down for a term
