Approach to the law
| “ | A Judge must possess qualities of good judgment including patience, wisdom, courage, firmness, alertness, incorruptibility and the gifts of sympathy and insight. He should be a person with the ability to apply the law to the facts and to understand how a judicial decision will affect the people appearing before the court. He must have the ability to communicate with counsel, witnesses and parties calmly and courteously, as well as the willingness to listen to and consider what is said on all sides of a debatable proposition. And, since a Judge is in a position of great trust, a Judge must demonstrate a very high personal standard of ethical conduct.[4] - Mark Moulton[5] | ” |
